With its authentic carded cotton material, almost a sweatshirt, the MERIDAME II is a reinterpretation of the classic nautical shirt, with a more feminine form and a round neck collar for relaxed comfort. 100% carded cotton. Heavyweight jersey. Made in Saint-James, Normandy, France.

The carded cotton is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. You can feel the quality. I've been looking for a striped long sleeve shirt to replace one I took from my boyfriend a few years back, but have come up short a number of times. The Meridame II has the perfect weight and I really like the fit. I ordered the size 6 initially and returned it for the size 8 because I wanted a more relaxed fit and have broader shoulders. For reference: 5'3"/ 118 lb/ 30D. Will definitely be purchasing another color.
